> MOX is a web-based, calibration software that combines advance automated calibration capabilities, industry-leading uncertainty modeling, and metrology engineering tools with cutting-edge laboratory workflow and asset management.

The system integrates seamlessly with the MOX2GO mobile application and the MOX Customer Portal to provide a single, comprehensive solution that will take your metrology processes to a new level of performance and efficiency.

Enterprise-level system and state of the art tools allow users to manage multiple calibration laboratories and track MT\&E across the organization.

The intuitive and easy-to-use interface provides users with a simple one-step process for receiving multiple assets and creating corresponding work orders. Features like user configurable row highlighting and the ability to easily sort and filter primary screen views, including customers, work order, assets and so forth, give users an instant window into their entire operation and simplify work assignment, balancing workload by technician or laboratory type, updating work order status, and creating shipping documents for returning assets to customers.

MOX FEATURES:
•	Comprehensive financial tools for generating quotes and creating invoices.
•	Comprehensive outsourcing tools that allow users to track vendor calibrations and manage vendor accreditation, ensuring that equipment is outsourced to qualified vendors only.
•	The web-based customer portal allows laboratory customers to view and manage their calibration records and track the status of their assets when out for calibration.
•	The MOX Interface Manager, a powerful tool with a standard set of APIs, provides MOX data to ERP and other external systems based on defined criteria. For example, when a new calibration certificate is issued in MOX, the Interface Manager will automatically update the ERP or other external systems to reflect the change. The MOX Interface Manager is also used to run scheduled tasks such as sending automatic e-mail notifications for assets coming due for calibration.
•	A powerful mobile application (MOX2GO) that provides users real-time access to critical calibration information and allows technicians to perform field maintenance using an iOS mobile phone or tablet.

UNCERTAINTY SIMPLIFIED:
The MOX state-of-the-art features automate many metrology-engineering tasks that greatly simplify the process of performing uncertainty analysis and creating uncertainty budgets. MOX automatically calculates uncertainty (EMU) and test ratios (TAR/TUR) using specifications and other parameters from a test instrument’s set point, standards, and measurement system configuration.

The system supports multiple pre-assigned standards that can be selected at the time of calibration; the actual uncertainty and test ratios reflect the selected standard. One of MOX’s advanced features allows users to create instrument specification files in a database format, with accuracy specifications organized by function and range limits.

These instrument specifications are used by the system to calculate accuracy and uncertainty for calibration standards. Using the MOX instrument specification’s function and range limit data, MOX can automatically assign the most accurate qualifying instrument range for calibration standards to the data sheet test points.
The MOX electronic instrument specifications can be assigned as default/alternate calibration standards and automatically integrated into the test point uncertainty models.

The MOX default uncertainty model automatically and dynamically creates and updates uncertainty elements for each of the following:

•	Standard deviation of calibration samples (Type A)
•	MetSpec instrument calibration standards (Type B)
•	Measurement resolution (Type B)
•	Measurement repeatability (Type B)

Users can disable any of the automatic features and manually create and modify uncertainty elements.

## Reviews

### "The complete package." — 5.0/5

> **Alan** | *16 June 2022* | Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Data collection is dynamic and offers multiple options for integration with fully automated systems or direct manual entry. Ideal for a multi-discipline laboratory. (Mechanical/Dimensional, Dynamics, Electronics, etc.)
Complete control of our uncertainty calculations, with the flexibility to go complex or keep it simple.
We continue to find daily benefits to using the software.
Integrated web portal is simple to use, and our customers have praised the upgrade.
>
> **Cons**: No serious complaints to date. Minor issues have been resolved quickly.
>
> The developers and support staff have been extremely helpful as we have implemented MOX. The data migration process was painless, and their expertise through this process made all the difference. Continued support has been readily available, and their response has been timely and professional. We used the demo software for over a year and couldn't be happier to now be using MOX for all our daily calibration activities.

### "Powerful, almost too powerful" — 4.0/5

> **Adam** | *19 July 2022* | Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Recommendation rating: 7.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Software is fairly intuitive to navigate. MPS data capturing side is well done and a duplicate what we were previously used to. Once you know where everything is located, and their relationships, its easy to see how the system functions overall.
>
> **Cons**: Some simplifications processes on workflows would be ideal, as mentioned before the software is powerful and so there are a lot of tools that can make the user feel overwhelmed. Speed is sometimes an issue and software will hang up on large queries of datasets.
>
> Great overall system, Company is responsive to requests. Would like to see a remote/field service module for the ability to complete work "offline" and then sync with the database upon returning to networking service.

### "Metbench" — 4.0/5

> **Manuel** | *21 February 2019* | Utilities | Recommendation rating: 6.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Desktop and mobile apps available
Barcode scanner for mobile app
>
> **Cons**: Limited view of inventory from mobile app
>
> Using Metbench for equipment logging of inventory and eventually storing calibration records.

### "Powerful software." — 5.0/5

> **Mark** | *23 August 2022* | Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Ease of use. MPS is great for capturing data on the calibrations. Customer's have access to their certificates through the MOX portal.
>
> **Cons**: Order setup could be improved. Better tools to review assets before work orders are generated.
>
> Powerful software that allows our customers to get the most information on their instruments and provide them with great calibration services.

### "Metbench/Mox Review" — 5.0/5

> **AJAYA** | *15 October 2019* | Biotechnology | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The overall functionality of the software is good - very useful for routine calibration.
>
> **Cons**: Exporting the calibration data points into excel spreadsheet or similar format for further data analysis using some other statistical software.
